Riding Lessons

J.E.M. Stables has highly qualified instructors who develop riding skills in both the beginning student (from age 5) and the advanced student through customized programs.

We offer both group and private lessons, and both English and Western riding.

Our head instructor is Michelle Crawford.
 


 

We have a total of 25 horses and ponies in our program. Riding is done in either our lighted outdoor 150 x 220 ring or our indoor arena (with comfortable observation lounge).

Lesson Package - To quality for the lesson package, payment is due in advance.

Cancellation Policy - You must notify JEM Stables 24 hours in advance of a lesson or you will be charged for the lesson.

Attendance Policy - Please arrive 20 minutes prior to lesson time to groom and tack up your horse. Unfortunately, if you are late to class your lesson will not run the full hour. After your lesson, horses and ponies must be cooled down, untacked and groomed. Please be patient!

All students must wear a protective helmet with a fastened chin strap. We have loaners for those who do not yet have their own.

Please supervise young siblings while at this farm! Running in or around the barns can be very dangerous and is not permitted.
